The New York Cycle Club (NYCC), founded in 1936, is the largest recreational cycling club in New York City. As an independent nonprofit and 100% volunteer run organization, NYCC brings together cyclists of all levels through group rides, training programs, and community events.
Whether you are new to cycling or an experienced rider or racer, NYCC offers a welcoming community of cyclists who share a passion for riding, exploring new routes, and improving together.
The club organizes group rides throughout the week and on weekends, structured training programs, destination rides, weekend cycling trips, and a full calendar of social events across New York City and the surrounding region.
We offer road rides at all levels, as well as some off-road ("dirt") rides. Our spring SIG training program accomodates riders of any speed. For those who compete (or wish to), there's the racing team. Oh, and we ride all year round.
Whether you are just getting into cycling or a seasoned rider, whether a social or a serious rider (or both), at NYCC you will find a home and a group of riders who share your passion.
